Arrival in Murkwell & Exploring Deadford

After banishing the goblin tribe, the players must begin the purification of Deadford. At the center of the ruins stand a fountain that no longer works, within the stonework if the players uncover it, is the name White-Spring. The old name of the city that once was here. From within the open portal of the fountain they hear the groans of the undead who will come pouring our after sunset.

Chroumira The Rotting - Grave Master
The main fountain is inhabited by a horde of the undead.  Chroumira was once known as Mirajeta the Patron of Whitespring - Goddess of Blessings.  When Elanehtar fell she warped into Chroumira the Rotting. She has no memory of her former life and hates the living. Only her amulet of Recollection remains as a memory of her former life.

Amulet of Recollection: Once per day the amulet may be asked a question about the history of the world before the Fall. Additional questions may be asked but the depletion is 1 in d10 for each additional asked past the first one.  When first activated the amulet will send out a burst of restorative energy that purges Whitespring and restores it to pristine glory before the fall minus any inhabitants.

Strings of Naerrus: These magical strings may be added to any string instrument. When added the strings allow the user to summon the entourage of Naerrus, goddess of music.  The entourage will be shocked and sadden when the learn of the gods demise. While somewhat annoying the entourage can be useful as messengers and as entertainment.

Berserker Blades: Attached to any blade, they allow additional attacks if the previous target is killed. The ruin can be attached to any blade.

Sunsword: This empty handle sword transform into the any sword desired by the user, ranging from a simple dagger to a two-handed sword.

Helm of Truesight: This adds one divine shift to accuracy and grants the passive ability to see through illusions and other disguises.

Amulet of Privacy: It prevents scrying.

Fountain of Restoration: Once reactivated, the fountain can acquire the ability of a divine power that a player invest in it. It retains that power for 12 hours.

With the defeat of Chroumira and the recovery of the Amulet of Recollection, White-spring has been restored to former glory minus any citizens.  The 26th of Light's End marks the liberation of White-spring and the city being refounded as Alize.

Galavor & Jynerra remain in Alize to manage the city and build defenses. They have chosen to keep the nature of their divinity hidden until there is a consensus among the heroes.

Val'gatch Half-time is the blacksmith who works only for food and drink. He is able to smith at a rate twice as fast as normal and uses his excessive free time to be a glutton and drunk.

Kurdan has taken up work training the commoners in the use of weapons and armor. He secretly talks to everyone about the liberating wizards and sword-mages that are his "friends."
